After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Harnett, E.E. Smith was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Westover Wolverines with a sharp 13-3 win. The Golden Bulls' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Nick Williams was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kealoha Helgenberger also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

E.E. Smith always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

E.E. Smith's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Westover, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15.
