It was a good run, but McAllen unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the McAllen Memorial Mustangs by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

McAllen's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4-1. As for McAllen Memorial, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.
