If Madera South wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Fresno, they should've done a better job of containing Kai Alfa. The Warriors pulled ahead with a 49-48 photo finish over the Stallions on Friday thanks in part to Alfa, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. Alfa is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season.

Fresno's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Madera South, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Fresno has already played their next matchup, a 73-47 loss against McLane on the 6th. As for Madera South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-40 victory against Sierra Pacific on the 6th.
