The Lansingburgh Knights will head out on the road to face off against the La Salle Institute Cadets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lansingburgh is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Lansingburgh came up short against Catholic Central and fell 4-1. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Kyleigh Wilmott was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Adriana Pasinella also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, La Salle Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-11 heartbreaker at the hands of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.

Lansingburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for La Salle Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Lansingburgh's way against La Salle Institute when the teams last played last Tuesday, as Lansingburgh made off with a 14-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
