Basketball Game Preview: Dobson Mustangs vs. Perry Pumas + Official Tickets

The Dobson Mustangs and the Perry Pumas will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Dobson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Dobson was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against San Luis on Monday. The Mustangs took their contest with ease, bagging a 75-48 win over the Sidewinders. The Mustangs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Perry not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 28th (when they won 67-45). They blew past Mountain Ridge 77-56.

Dobson's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Perry, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Dobson took a serious blow against Perry in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 76-36. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Mustangs were down 49-11.
