Basketball Recap: Walhalla Comes Up Short

Walhalla came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Belton-Honea Path Bears, falling 83-49. The Razorbacks haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Walhalla's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Williams, who posted nine points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Carson Duncan, who earned seven points.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Belton-Honea Path, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Walhalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Belton-Honea Path, they are taking a road trip to take on West-Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
