Basketball Recap: Harbor Beach's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

Harbor Beach lost against Sandusky back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Harbor Beach Pirates took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandusky Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Wolves are ranked 84th).

Harbor Beach's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-7. As for Sandusky, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harbor Beach has already played their next contest (against Ubly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sandusky won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mt. Clemens at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sandusky's defense has only allowed 23 points per game this season, so Mt. Clemens' offense will have their work cut out for them.
