Baseball Recap: Arroyo Knights vs. El Monte Lions
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arroyo). They put the hurt on the El Monte Lions with a sharp 12-2 win on Friday. The Knights not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10, 2024.

Arroyo let Gio Perez and Manny Vargas run wild. Perez scored three runs while going 2-for-2, while Vargas scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave Perez a new career-high.
Arroyo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Monte only managed seven hits.
