Baseball Game Preview: Apple Springs Eagles vs. Brookeland Wildcats

For the first time this season, Apple Springs will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to take on the Brookeland Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apple Springs is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Apple Springs and Groveton, and Groveton kept the tradition alive. Apple Springs lost 14-2 to Groveton last Thursday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Brookeland faced off against Kountze on Saturday. Brookeland came up short against Kountze, falling 8-1. The loss put an end to the Wildcats' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brookeland fell to 2-1. As for Apple Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
