Basketball Recap: North Miami Comes Up Short

If North Miami was riding high fresh off their 64-43 takedown of Ferguson last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Miami Pioneers fell 72-60 to the Southridge Spartans on Friday.

North Miami's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Southridge, they pushed their record up to 11-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

North Miami didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-33 defeat against Northwestern on the 27th. Southridge has also already played their next matchup, a 68-44 loss against Miami on the 25th.
