Volleyball Game Preview: Otsego Knights vs. Eastwood Eagles

Otsego is 1-9 against Eastwood since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Knights will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Otsego took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Maumee with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Otsego was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-11.

Otsego relied on the efforts of Molly Kramer, who had 22 digs and two aces, and Sophia Borer, who had 17 digs. Kramer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Meanwhile, Eastwood made easy work of Fostoria on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Eastwood walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-17.

Otsego's record is now 14-7. As for Eastwood, their record now sits at 14-6.
