Kingsway hasn't had much luck against Timber Creek Regional recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Kingsway Dragons will look to defend their home field against the Timber Creek Regional Chargers at 6:00 p.m.

Kingsway's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Camden on Friday. They were dealt a 30-0 defeat at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Panthers are ranked 14th).

Kingsway's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Tommy Dipietro and Kyle Nordone. Baker JR got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 62 yards. Quadir Baldwin was Baker JR's top target, picking up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Timber Creek Regional's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Nick Traynor and his two sacks. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making five total tackles.

Timber Creek Regional was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 281 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since was before the start of last season.

Kingsway's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Timber Creek Regional, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
