Hayden is a perfect 3-0 against Patagonia since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Hayden will head out on the road to challenge Patagonia at 3:45 p.m. Hayden's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Patagonia's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Hayden barely beat North Valley Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Hayden put the hurt on North Valley Christian Academy with a sharp 12-2 win on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lobos considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Patagonia was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Valley Union.

Patagonia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miguel Albarron, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Johnny Fields also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Hayden's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Patagonia, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Hayden's way against Patagonia in their previous matchup back in March of 2018, as Hayden made off with a 9-3 victory. Will Hayden repeat their success, or does Patagonia has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
