The Emmanuel Christian Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Whitmer Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Emmanuel Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13 runs per game this season.
Emmanuel Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Rogers on Friday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Rams. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Maggie Woodward was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ariella Morris, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Paris Foster was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
Emmanuel Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Whitmer came up short against Clay on Friday and fell 8-5. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Olivia Munoz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cali Worley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.
Emmanuel Christian's record now sits at 3-1. As for Whitmer, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Whitmer's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Emmanuel Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .573. It's a different story for Whitmer, though, as they've only averaged .344. Will they be able to contain Emmanuel Christian's hitters?
