Baseball Recap: St. Clair Comes Up Short

St. Clair fell victim to Minnesota Valley Lutheran and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 9-0. The Cyclones were not able to make up for their loss to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in May of 2016.

St. Clair is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, St. Clair will face off against Mountain Lake/Comfrey at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Clair is facing Mountain Lake/Comfrey at the right time seeing as Mountain Lake/Comfrey is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they will take on Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
