Softball Recap: Bethlehem Wildcats vs. Malone Tigers

If Bethlehem was feeling good off their 21-14 takedown of Geneva County two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bethlehem Wildcats took a 20-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Malone Tigers on Tuesday. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

For Malone's part, Jordin Josey was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and two triples. Josey hasn't dropped below two stolen bases for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Larae Baxter, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5.

Bethlehem will head out on the road to square off against Destin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
