Basketball Game Preview: Founders Christian Falcons vs. Covenant Academy Patriots

Founders Christian and Covenant Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Founders Christian Falcons will take on the Covenant Academy Patriots in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Founders Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Founders Christian picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Divine Savior Academy - Sienna by a score of 45-38.

Covenant Academy kicked off their season on the road back in November and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 80-45 loss at the hands of Calvary Baptist. The Patriots have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Founders Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Covenant Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything came up roses for Founders Christian against Covenant Academy when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured a 75-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Founders Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
