St. Teresa and Cerro Gordo/Bement are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses apiece.

St. Teresa came up short against Casey-Westfield on Monday, falling 21-1.

St. Teresa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jalie Eller, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Sullivan hit Cerro Gordo/Bement with a six-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Broncos fell 7-3 to the Redskins.

Madelyn Sommers was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Sierra Personette was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

St. Teresa's record is now 6-16. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, their record now sits at 3-15.

St. Teresa took their victory against Cerro Gordo/Bement in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
