Softball Recap: Legion Collegiate Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Legion Collegiate Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lewisville Lions a 6-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Lancers have won by exactly six runs.

Lewisville's batters probably weren't too happy with Amelia Mason, who pitched a no hitter and racked up six Ks (she gave up a single walk). Mason has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, El Desermia was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Macie Tillman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Legion Collegiate Academy's record now sits at 10-7-1. As for Lewisville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-9.
