Softball Recap: Washington Union Panthers vs. Sunnyside Wildcats

Washington Union lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Sunnyside, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's contest. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Wildcats on Saturday. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Callie Flores made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Flores was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
