It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but East Gaston ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They beat the Burns Bulldogs by a goal, winning 2-1. The win continues a trend for East Gaston in their matchups with Burns: they've now won nine in a row.

East Gaston's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Burns, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11-2.
