Soccer Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Stratford was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 4-1 to the Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes. While losing is never fun, Stratford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Ashley Ridge are ranked third).

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Ashley Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Stratford nor Ashley Ridge have any future games scheduled.
