Baseball Recap: Point Arena Pirates vs. St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs
It's playoff time, and Point Arena had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Wednesday, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.
Not much got past Aidan O'Neil, who gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks to keep St. Vincent de Paul off the board. O'Neil has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

He has become a key player for Point Arena: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Mateo VanCleave also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
