Volleyball Recap: Arundel Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Arundel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Glenelg Gladiators with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Wildcats have beaten the Gladiators the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Gladiators has come to flipping the script.

While Arundel won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.

Glenelg's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bella Chen, who had 17 digs, and Abigail Nirola, who had six digs. Tise Tokunboh-Salako also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Arundel's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Glenelg, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Arundel has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Howard on the 23rd. Glenelg has also already played their next match (against Annapolis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
