Mercy is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Girls Prep. The Jaguars came out on top against the Bruisers by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won three matches in a row.

Mady Yaden paced Mercy's offense, picking up seven kills. Yaden got some help from Addison Randol and her 14 assists. Alli Riegling controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mercy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Girls Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.

Mercy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sacred Heart on the 23rd. As for Girls Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Dobyns-Bennett on the 23rd.
