Volleyball Recap: Dublin Jerome Falls Short of Hilliard Davidson in the Playoffs

Dublin Jerome and Hilliard Davidson squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Dublin Jerome had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Celtics were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Leading Hilliard Davidson to victory were Alex Holdridge and Logan Buck. Holdridge had five digs and two aces, while Buck had ten digs. That's the most aces Holdridge has posted since back in April.

The loss snapped Dublin Jerome's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 14-11 record. As for Hilliard Davidson, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Dublin Jerome does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hilliard Davidson, they will take on Thomas Worthington on Saturday. The CARDINALS will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
