Baseball Game Preview: Oregon Hawks vs. Dixon Dukes & Duchesses

Oregon is 0-10 against Dixon since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dukes & Duchesses at 4:30 p.m. The last three games Oregon has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, Oregon didn't have quite enough to beat Stillman Valley and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Dixon entered their tilt with Oregon on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hawks 5-3.

Brady Feit was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Dixon's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Oregon, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
