Baseball Game Preview: Pensacola Tigers vs. Paxton Bobcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Pensacola Tigers duke it out with Paxton Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pensacola fell victim to Navarre and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 12-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Paxton lost 18-6 to Donelson Christian Academy on Tuesday.

Phillip Bearden made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Case Moore, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Pensacola's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12.2 runs. As for Paxton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
