Recap: Ada Cougars vs. Seminole Chieftains

The Ada Cougars posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They blew past Seminole 53-32. Given Ada's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while Seminole is ranked 369th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ada got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sadie Epps out in front who scored nine points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamieson Emarthle, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds.

Ada's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Seminole, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.

Ada will head out on the road to face off against Hugo at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hugo is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Seminole, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Silo at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th.
