Basketball Recap: Goodrich Takes a Loss

Goodrich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chester Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hornets have suffered since December 1, 2023.

Goodrich's record now sits at 0-20. As for Chester, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Goodrich will venture away from home to challenge Hull-Daisetta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hull-Daisetta's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Chester, they will face off against Leggett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
