Volleyball Recap: Nipomo Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Nipomo barely beat Righetti the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in March.

Nipomo walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-20.

Ulises Diaz Delgado was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had five digs and five aces. Those five aces gave him a new career-high.

Nipomo pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Righetti, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nipomo will square off against rival Paso Robles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Righetti is set to challenge their familiar foe Morro Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
