Volleyball Recap: Niles West Takes a Loss

Niles West was the 2-1 winner over Maine West when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Niles West sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 25-21.

Niles West's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Maine West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Niles West has already played their next game (against Highland Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Maine West, they will square off against Niles North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
