It was a good run, but Southeast Bulloch unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bradwell Institute Tigers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Southeast Bulloch sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 11-25, 15-11.

Ellie Branch paced Southeast Bulloch's offense, picking up four kills. Branch got some help from Allie Crabb and her nine assists. Crabb was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Southeast Bulloch's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Bradwell Institute, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-4.

Coming up, Southeast Bulloch will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Calvary Day at 5:30 p.m. Bradwell Institute has already played their next match (against Bryan County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
