Basketball Recap: Jaden Joiner Key Part of a Team Effort in Spartans Win

Northland Prep Academy won the last time they faced Pinon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Northland Prep Academy Spartans took down the Pinon Eagles 65-50.

Northland Prep Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Joiner, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 15 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Joiner a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ian Karren, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Northland Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Pinon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Northland Prep Academy and Kingman Academy will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Pinon has already played their next contest (against Hopi), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
