Burke County put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Johnson Panthers by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Burke County was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final set scores came out to 25-11, 25-14.

Burke County has now won 15 of their last 16 games on the road. That gives them a 15-0 record this season. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-4 Butler and 0-4 Hephzibah (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 15.1% over those games). As for Johnson, they are now 12-4, having gone 1-2 since their five-game winning streak ended.

Coincidentally, Burke County and Johnson will both be playing Glenn Hills the next time they take the court. The Bears will host the Spartans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
