Clovis owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Clovis West Golden Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Logan Georges looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Deep Chohan, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Nick Caballero was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Clovis' record is now 11-14. As for Clovis West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.
