Baseball Recap: Holden Comes Up Short

Holden and Portageville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Holden had to settle for second. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holden's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Portageville, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Holden nor Portageville have any future games scheduled.
