Baseball Recap: Archbishop McCarthy Comes Up Short

On the hitting side, Adrian Alfonso made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Archbishop McCarthy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-11. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Flanagan, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Archbishop McCarthy has already played their next contest, a 9-3 defeat against Cypress Bay on the 9th. As for Flanagan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Fort Lauderdale on the 10th.
