Volleyball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Rogers was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mountain Home on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mountaineers came up short against the Bentonville West Wolverines on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Mountaineers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Rogers ultimately came up short, they really made Bentonville West work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Rogers saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Teagan Henderson had nine digs and three assists. Jocelyn Fleming also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Rogers dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bentonville West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Rogers will be playing at home against Carl Junction at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bentonville West, they will take on Northside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
