Lutheran-Northeast is 0-4 against Scotus since April of 2022 but things could change  on Thursday. The Eagles will face off against the Shamrocks at 5:00  p.m. Lutheran-Northeast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8  goals per game  this season.
On Monday, Lutheran-Northeast needed a bit of extra time to put away Lakeview. Their defense stepped up to hand the Vikings  a   1-0 shutout.  Cambrie Drees had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Lutheran-Northeast.
 Meanwhile, Scotus strolled into their game  on Tuesday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They blew past Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central/Parkview Christian 10-0. Considering Scotus have won five contests by more than three  goals this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Scotus pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 28  goals over those three  games. As for Lutheran-Northeast,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Lutheran-Northeast suffered a grim  6-0 defeat to Scotus  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
