Softball Recap: Crestview's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Crestview came into Friday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Paxton Bobcats by a score of 8-3 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-3 back in March.

Tianna Hill was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Moriah Keith was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-10. As for Paxton, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestview will host Navarre at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Paxton, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Baker at 6:00 p.m. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
