Softball Recap: Woods Cross Takes a Loss

After flying high against Roy last Wednesday, Woods Cross came back down to earth. The Woods Cross Wildcats came up short against the Green Canyon Wolves on Monday, falling 16-6.

Woods Cross saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee Moen, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Kailah Feliciano also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Woods Cross suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 2-2. As for Green Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Woods Cross will take on Clearfield at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clearfield will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Green Canyon, they will host West Field at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
