Basketball Game Preview: Arleta Mustangs vs. Gardena Panthers

Arleta hasn't had much luck against Gardena recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Both will face off at 5:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Arleta's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches.

Arleta's tournament run continued when they took on Venice on Thursday. Arleta fell 71-59 to Venice.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Gardena duked it out withUniversity on Thursday. Gardena took down University 45-29.

Arleta's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Gardena, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Arleta lost to Gardena on the road by a decisive 59-44 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Arleta avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
