Baseball Recap: Emerson Finds Home Field Redemption Against Braswell

There's no place like home for Emerson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Braswell Bengals a 5-0 shutout on Friday.

Emerson got a big performance out of Jalen McLin, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Finley Hambrick was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Emerson's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Braswell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7-2.

Looking ahead, Emerson will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Panther Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Braswell, they will take on Sherman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
