Basketball Recap: Le Grand Comes Up Short

Le Grand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-24 loss at the hands of the Mariposa County Grizzlies. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-4.

Le Grand's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Mariposa County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Le Grand will be playing in front of their home fans against Stone Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stone Ridge Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Le Grand likes a good challenge. As for Mariposa County, they will challenge Delhi at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
