Football Recap: Park Vista Comes Up Short

Park Vista extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wellington Wolverines. The Cobras were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

As for Wellington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three points across that stretch.

The critical scores for Wellington came from Philip Iannone and Jay'Lan Tyler.

Park Vista didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-3 defeat against Palm Beach Lakes on the 11th. As for Wellington, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Spanish River at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th.
