Baseball Recap: Fultondale Comes Up Short

If Fultondale was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Cornerstone last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 8-2 to the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Fultondale dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coincidentally, Fultondale and Westminster School at Oak Mountain will both be playing Central the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Falcons at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 2:15 p.m.
