Baseball Recap: Basehor-Linwood Comes Up Short

Basehor-Linwood lost against Shawnee Heights back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 12-2 to the Thunderbirds. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered against the Thunderbirds since March 30, 2021.

This is the second loss in a row for Basehor-Linwood and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Shawnee Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

While Basehor-Linwood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Thursday.
