Fairfield had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Handley Tigers 80-43. Fairfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Fairfield's fourth in a row) raised their record to 28-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.5 points. As for Handley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.
