Basketball Recap: Harris County Takes a Loss

Harris County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Manchester Blue Devils and fell 88-31. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 508th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 177th).

Manchester's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dre Mcghee led the charge by putting up 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The match was Mcghee's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of L?Ki Prather, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Harris County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Manchester, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Harris County Tigers duke it out with the Central Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manchester, they will venture away from home to face off against Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
